Sheet Pan Meal Recipe

I know I’m late hopping onto the trend of sheet pan meals, but in case you haven’t heard, THESE WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD!

The first time I made a sheet pan meal, my cousin was coming over for a visit after work and I wanted a recipe that would come together quickly and require little attention. This meal was just that. Most of the work is done in the prep stage, and it’s literally just chopping up vegetables and sausages and throwing them into a baking pan. It tastes fantastic and it’s easy—my fave combo!

You could switch up the vegetables and spices you add to this dish or keep it simple. Whichever route you go for is sure to be a hit! Plus, the colours are downright spring-like. Let me know what you think :)

Quick + Easy Sheet Pan Meal

Serves 4 | Preparation Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 30-40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack sausages, approx. 1.2 kg (we usually use honey garlic, which is fire!)

  • 1-2 large crowns of broccoli

  • 2 large red onions

  • 1-2 large sweet potatoes

  • 1 medium squash or butternut squash

  • 5 cloves garlic

  • Drizzle of olive oil (we used olive oil infused with hot peppers + rosemary—SO good!)

  • Moroccan spice seasoning, measured with your heart

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

2. Prep your vegetables by cutting them into bite-sized hunks. The smaller your root vegetables are, the quicker things will bake! Slice up the sausages also.

1 pack sausages, 1-2 large crowns of broccoli, 2 large red onions, 1-2 large sweet potatoes, 1 medium squash or butternut squash.

3. Place all vegetables and sausage in an ungreased baking pan. Crush garlic overtop. Drizzle generously with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Sometimes we add Moroccan spice, which is a stunning flavor combo!

5 cloves garlic, olive oil drizzle, salt, pepper, and Moroccan spice to taste.

4. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the sweet potato and squash are soft. Enjoy!
